In the heart of Glasgow’s city centre, Premier Suites Plus Glasgow is just 10 minutes’ walk from the bustling High Street. Free WiFi is available and most suites boast views over George Square and Queen Street.
All of the suites have a living area and a separate bedroom area. They boast a 47-inch flat-screen TV, a safe, a Nespresso machine, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Each suite has a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk sugar and biscuits. The penthouse suites also offer the luxury of air conditioning.
The Pavillion Theatre is a 9-minute walk whilst the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall can be reached within a 7-minute walk. A variety of supermarkets can be reached within a 15-minute walk and the cinema is a 10-minute walk.
Queen Street Rail Station is a 5-minute walk from the building. It is a 5-minute drive from Olympic House to the M8 motorway, for easily accessing the rest of Scotland.

A security deposit of GBP 250 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. Please note if the booking is for the same day arrival the security deposit can only be paid by card along with photo ID in the same name as the cardholder.
A valid form of photo ID in the form of a driving license or passport will also be required at check-in.
Under no circumstances is an apartment to be sublet by the occupier. Failure to adhere to this will result in the occupant being evicted.
Office opening hours are as follows: Monday-Friday 09:00 to 21:00, Saturday 10:00 to 19:00 and Sunday 11:00 to 17:00. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform PREMIER SUITES PLUS Glasgow in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Please note that the full amount of the reservation is due before arrival. Premier Apartments will send a confirmation with detailed payment information. 林務局為了推廣手作步道的概念與價值，所屬羅東林區管理處與台灣千里步道協會日前共同舉辦「太平山手作步道工作假期」，林務局林華慶局長特別與24位步道志工，以雙手及非動力工具，並且就地取材，共同修復鳩之澤舊吊橋及流籠頭遺址的支線步道路段，林華慶也宣示未來林務局所主管的步道，除了基於安全考量而必須仍以工程發包方式整建的路段外，其餘都將盡可能導入手作與委請周邊社區維護的模式，以降低步道整建對生態環境的衝擊。
林務局表示，步道是人們親近自然的重要途徑，步道本身的生態、歷史人文、景觀美質更是其重要資產。但以往步道的開闢與整建，常因為工法忽略區域環境特性，往往導致過度水泥化，輕則破壞景觀，重則引發生態破壞與水土沖刷，甚至導致災害；人們親近大自然的初衷，卻反破壞了生態環境。
林務局說，手作步道是近年國際間興起的綠色運動，源自美國國家步道阿帕拉契山徑步道志工的經驗，其精神是先瞭解在地生態、先民文化及傳統工法智慧，順應步道所在地的氣候、地質、原生生態特性，找出與環境和諧共存的路線與工法，採人力方式，運用現地材料及非動力工具輔助，減少機具使用與外來材料搬運，盡可能降低對環境的干擾最小，以及減少地球自然資源取用與鋪面硬體造成棲地切割效應的原則下修建步道，非常適合臺灣山區的人文與自然環境。
林務局從2007年導入「手作步道工作假期」以來，累計已辦理87場次，共有超過2千3百位民眾參與。林華慶局長說，林務局管理的步道及古道多達154條、總長共709公里，未來除了有安全疑慮，如天然災害造成嚴重的邊坡崩塌、路基流失、橋樑損壞，或是有立即搶通需要者，須以發包工程方式整修外；其餘將視環境現況及使用對象，逐步導入手作步道維護模式。
